With the name of Allah the Most beneficent the Most merciful

ALLAH  / GOD

In this article I will explain my understanding and belief about Allah [swt], However   it is very complicated area, no man can truly understand anything about ALLAH without Allah’s help. It’s like a young child trying to understand rocket science, below verses as example.

The Quran 31:27

And if all the trees on the earth were pens and the sea (were ink wherewith to write), with seven seas behind it to add to its (supply), yet the Words of Allah would not be exhausted. Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Since Allah has given some information about HIM in Al-Quran, therefore we may understand little about ALLAH by pondering on some verses.  We know every language has one or more terms that are used in reference to Allah. And must commonly name used is “GOD” which OK but not perfect since our Allah inform mankind in all time that HIS unique name is ALLAH.

The term has no plural or gender, which shows its uniqueness when compared with the word "god," which can be made plural, as in "gods," or made feminine, as in "goddess. Therefore I think it is best to use ALLAH instead of GOD.

Allah is our only creator, therefore the creator must be of a different nature from the things created because if HE is of the same nature as they are, HE will be temporal and will therefore need a maker. It follows that nothing is like HIM.

If the maker is not temporal, then he must be eternal, And since HE is eternal, HE cannot be caused, and nothing caused HIM to come into existence, nothing outside Him causes Him to continue to exist, which means HE must be self-sufficient.

And HE does not depend on anything for the continuance of HIS own existence, So HIS existence can have no end. The Creator is therefore eternal and everlasting: (He is the First and the Last).

Also HE does not create only in the sense of bringing things into being, He. also preserves them and takes them out of existence and is the ultimate cause of whatever happens to them.

The Quran 39:62-63

“ALLAH is the Creator of everything. He is the guardianover everything. Unto Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth”

The Quran 11:16

“ No creature is there crawling on theearth, but its provision rests on Allah. He knows its lodging place and itsrepository”

ALLAH’S Attributes

SOME OF ALLAH’S ATTRIBUTE MENTION IN AL-QURAN

Ar-Rahmaan (The Compassionate, The Beneficient,) Ar-Raheem (The Merciful,) Al-Malik (The King, The Sovereign Lord) Al-Quddoos (The Holy,) As-Salaam (The Source of Peace) Al-Mu'min (Guardian of Faith),  Al-Muhaimin (The Protector) Al-^Azeez (The Mighty, The Strong,)
Al-Jabbaar (The Compeller) Al-Mutakabbir(The Majestic,) Al-Khaaliq (The Creator) Al-Bari' (The Evolver, The Maker, The Creator )Al-Musawwir (The Fashioner) Al-Ghaffaar (The Great Forgiver, The Forgiver)Al-Qahhaar (The Subduer, The Dominant,)Al-Wahhaab (The Bestower,)Al-Razzaaq(The Sustainer) Al-Fattaah(The Opener, The Reliever, The Judge)Al-^Aleem(The All-knowing, The Knowledgeable)Al-Rabid (The Constricter, The Retainer, The Withholder,) Al-Baasit (The Expander, The Englarger,) Al-Khaafid (The Abaser,)Ar-Raafi (The Exalter, The Elevator,) ext…

Allah [swt] has unlimited attribute and since HE is Eternal-Everlasting, then His attributes is also eternal and everlasting. HE do not lose any of HIS attributes nor acquire new ones. Therefore HIS attributes are absolute. And because of such absolute it leave no room for more then ONE creator.

Sincere believer will easily come to conclusion that ,this is not feasible to have two or more gods / creators. In the Qur'an Allah continually reminds us of the falsity of all alleged gods, And about the worshippers whom worship the man-made objects.

RELATED VERSES

Hi s throne comprises the heavens and earth. The preserving of them oppresses Him not; He is the All-High, the All-Glorious”

ALLAH’S PHYSICAL PRESENCE

Due to human limited understand, this is a very complicated subject which required knowledge, wisdom, & understanding. Therefore it will not be justified if quickly label someone as Kafir or Mushreek without deeply considering what exactly of that individual actual belief are.

But under no circumstance & it is beyond possible that ALLAH physically inside, any of HIS own creation (such as inside human) we must also understand of Allah's infinite Power of Awareness. Which does not require Allah physically to be on a particular place to see the situation of that place?

However Allah has unlimited qualities, one of them is HIS existence. The existence of Allah is compulsory. The existence of Allah has no beginning and no end. The existence of the creation of Allah is dependent upon Allah in all its aspects. Allah is all-knowing HE is the Supreme Power.

The real existence of Allah alone, the entire creation is a testimony of the existence of Allah. In other words, the existence of the creation is totally different than the existence of Allah. One can not make analogical/ deduction of Allah's without the creation. The existence of Allah is real and independent. Therefore  Allah is one in HIS own unique existence /self /identity.

The several verse indicate ALLAH is in haven [Q20:5 / Q3:55/ Q32:4 / Q67:15-17 Q35:10] sometime some verses also indicate ALLAH is everywhere [Q2:115 /Q50:16 / Q57:3 Q57 :4 / Q58:7] but it will be wrong to use any of these verse to say Allah physically everywhere.

Same verse indicate Allah in haven, It does not speak about the Zat (Person) of Allah being on the Ársh/Throne but it is to indicate the establishment and control of the Kingdom of Allah by Himself.

Don’t forget every single thing is ALLAH’S creation. Therefore the Haven & Throne is also a creation so it is not correct to minimise or limit ALLAH by saying he is IN or ON.

Some verse say ALLAH is WITH us [Q75:4 /Q8:19/ Q2:194, /Q9:36,/ Q9:123 /Q2:153, /Q 8:46/Q2:249, /Q8:66/Q5:12 ] BUT that does not mean that ALLAH is physically with us.

Also some verses talk about the physical aspects of Allah’s (Hand/Light/Colour) and some other physical features of the life Hereafter, all these verse fall in the category of Mutashabihat (allegorical) verses [Q3:7] The Mutashabihat verses talk about those realities which we can neither see nor imagine.

It is just used as worldly examples to enable us to have some idea of a few of the important aspects of the unseen world. Also Allah inform us ‘No one knows its true meanings except Allah. Same when Allah inform HE is in haven and over a throne. We can only take its metaphorical meanings and not the real ones.

ALLAH’S PARTY

To be came a member of ALLAH’’S party, is by sincerely believing & obeying Allah as mention in HIS BOOK (QURAN) Please note those who are not in Allah’s party, Satan will take them as his members [Q35:6 Q58:19]

The Quran 58:22

Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.

The Quran 5:56

As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, His Messenger, and the Believers― it is the party of Allah that must certainly triumph.

Our God is ALLAH there is no god but ALLAH [Q20:98 2:163 2:163, 3:18, 6:102, 6:106, 7:158, 9:31, 11:14, 13:30, 23:116, 28:88, 35:3, 39:6, 40:3, 40:62, 40:65, 44:8, 59:22-23, 73:9 2:255, 3:2, 3:6, 4:87, 9:129, 20:8, 27:26, 28:70, 64:13]

Only HE has the right to issue command [28:70, 28:88]

Only HE is entitled to have the Ultimate Sovereignty [39:6 ]

The Submission/Obedience is due ONLY to HIM [40:65] We have to serve HIM alone [6:102]
