HALAL MEAT

To me it is wrong for anyone to make too much fuss unnecessarily on this issue, without knowing what Allah has permitted for us to eat. And we must keep in mind that Allah DO NOT share HIS laws / commands with any others individual regardless who they might be [not even with any prophets]. Therefore to me it is NOT right for anyone to make anything Halal or Harram in Islam save Allah [swt]

The Halal meat issue has mostly become a source of business nowadays, and unfortunately some corrupters are gaining wealth from it by twisting Allah’s law. They even don’t hesitate to insult or criticize those who don’t use their brand of so-called halal meat. And to me they are simply deceiving / misleading ordinarily believers.

Seem they take Allah is unaware of Muslims who are living in a country  where they are only minority and the people of the BOOK [Jews/Christians] are majority such as Europe and America, They forget the verses 5:3 does exist and Allah has given the solution already. Yet to them it seems that verses no longer valid, But for me every single law that mention in Al-Quran is for all times therefore it is active on all time till the end.

Since the food is important for our body therefore Allah has also specified very important criteria for His believers with regards to food, such as mentioning His name before eating anything, Also the issue of mention Allah’s Name has been some how misinterpreted by them commercial Imam [so-called scholars ] to say  it is compulsory to uttering Allah’s name on time of actual slaughtering instead of before eating or before lining up the animal.

Anyway please read all related verses below to understand this subject clearly. Also please note them translation either my understanding or the translation which I think is near enough to the Arabic verses. But to me all translation may have error due to understanding of the translator.

This is all vile. Today the rejecters have given up from your system, so do not fear them, but fear Me. The day I have perfected your system[ deen]  for you, and completed My blessings upon you, and I have accepted Islam  as the system  for you. So, whoever is forced by severe hunger and not seeking sin, then Allah  is Forgiving, Merciful.

The Quran 6:145

Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah. The Quran 22:36

Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful.

The Quran 66:1

O Prophet! Why do you prohibit [yourself] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

MY UNDERSTANDING RELATED TO THEM ABOVE VERSES

[2:168] Indicate we can eat everything which is lawful [in AQ] and good and need and avoid Satan [whom may invent things and add onto Islam as halal or haram].

[2:172] Also need to be grateful to Allah

[2:173] Allah has forbidden Carrion, Blood, Swine flesh, and them animal which been immolated with name other than Allah. But on extreme necessity it will not count as sinful because Allah is most Forgiving, Merciful.

[ 5:3 ] Indicate further forbidden any animal that been Strangled or beaten to death, or fallen from a height, or has been gored, or that which wild animals have eaten from except what you managed to rescue [alive and slaughter it] , and what has been slaughtered on alters, and what you divide by the arrows of chance.

[5:4 ] Indicate All good things are lawful to us or if we trained our birds or beasts [e.g dog] of prey to catch, but need to pronounce Allah’s name over it.

[5:5] Indicate the food of those who have been given the Scripture is lawful and our  food is lawful for them

[ 5:88] Indicate we need eat of what Allah has provided lawful and good. And need to believe and fear Allah alone.

[16:114] indicate we need to eat  lawful and good food while thanking Allah for such bounty He provided us.

[6:115] Indicate what he forbidden Dead Animals / Blood / Swine Flesh / Animal which dedicated to other than Allah. Also it mention if forced or used as extreme necessity while not transgressing its limit then Allah will forgiving  us for such situation.

[16:116] indicate no one should say falsely that or this lawful or forbidden, to avoid inventing lie on Allah.

[6:118] indicate we need to EAT that what Allah’s Name been mentioned

[6:119 ] indicate Allah has given detailed information of what haram therefore why should we not eat what Allah’s name mentioned. Also it mention of misguided and  their desires and Allah knows  the transgressors.

[6:145] indicate some will make thing haraam, therefore we should only avoid what Allah mention as haram such as dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine  or something dedicated to other than Allah. But Allah will forgive if any of us eat due to necessity or unknowingly

[22:36] Is related to animal sacrifice in the Hajj but we learn from it that when we have opportunity to slaughter, we should mention Allah’s name and eat from it and be grateful to Allah .

[22:37] This also related to Hajj which also indicate Allah’s commandment is for our own good therefore we should glorify Allah for guiding us

[66:1] This clearly prove even prophet has no ability to make anything haraam which Allah has made Halal.

Conclusion

Since the verse 6:118 is only indicating us to utter Allah's name before eating anything  and it does not say before slaughtering, so there must be reason to it ?  Also I believe on the time of prophet it was common practice for people especially the Mushreek to slaughter animal with other gods / illa name and may be for that reason Allah order believer to mention Allah’s name instead of other gods name, and that’s what that verse indicating to. and following verse [6:119] does also indicate to such issue.

Also since [5:5] Indicate Allah made lawful for believers to eat food of previous revelation /  prophets followers such as [ Jews Christians ] Yet we don’t find them mentioning Allah’s name when they slaughter as their normal practice BUT they DO NOT mention other gods name either, therefore may be that was the reason Allah allowed us to eat their foods.

However to me it is very important to obey, believe and follow Al-Quran strictly especially 11 category  which mention on the verse 5:3 to be avoided.

Also since most of the time Al-Quran mention word PURE therefore I need to eat whatever is only good pure and healthy.

Some label Muslim religious leaders has exaggerate this issue and benefiting from it by setting organisation such as HMC and other type such company in the western country.

To me I should not forget to mention Allah’s name if I slaughter any animal, NOT  because for making it Halal, but rather not to think I have power of taking anything/anyone lives, But it is Allah who has the ultimate power on everything HE give and take life [Allah knows Best ]
